METHOD AND LEGAL GROUNDS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

The personal data collected, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, for the purposes set out in the Cookie Policy, domestic official institutions and organisations, law enforcement agencies, courts and enforcement offices, third party real and legal persons, service providers and their officials, business partners and shareholders of our Company, our group companies and our direct or indirect domestic and foreign affiliates, suppliers and support service providers, domestic persons and organisations from whom we receive data storage services in the cloud environment, organisations located abroad and whose servers are located abroad, which are our cloud services infrastructure suppliers in the field of technology, since we do not have domestic alternatives that we can provide the service quality and service continuity we offer to you (e.g: Google), which are our cloud services infrastructure suppliers in the field of technology..

 

RIGHTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA OWNER

Pursuant to Article 11 of the LPPD, anyone can apply to the data controller and have the right for requesting information about himself/herself;

  1. a) To learn whether personal data is processed or not,
  2. b) To request information if personal data has been processed,
  3. c) To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

ç) To know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,

  1. d) To request correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
  2. e) To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions provided for in Article 7,
  3. f) To request notification of the transactions made pursuant to subparagraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data are transferred,
  4. g) To object to the occurrence of a result to the detriment of the person himself/herself by analysing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

ğ) In case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data, to demand compensation for the damage.

 

HOW TO USE YOUR RIGHTS?

You can submit your applications for your rights listed above to the Data Controller by filling out the Application Form available here.

 

Pursuant to the Regulation on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, the application of the Data Subject must include the name, surname, signature if the application is in writing, Turkish ID number, (passport number if the applicant is a foreigner), residential or workplace address for notification, e-mail address for notification, telephone number and fax number, if any, and information on the subject of the request.

 

The Relevant Person must clearly and comprehensibly state the matter requested in the application to be made in order to exercise the above-mentioned rights and containing explanations regarding the right requested to be exercised. Information and documents related to the application must be attached to the application.

Although the subject of the request must be related to the applicant’s person, if acting on behalf of someone else, the applicant must be specially authorised and this authorisation must be documented (special power of attorney). In addition, the application must contain identity and address information and documents confirming the identity must be attached to the application.

 

Requests made by unauthorised third parties on behalf of someone else will not be evaluated.

 

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RESPOND TO YOUR REQUESTS?

Your requests regarding your personal data are evaluated and answered within 30 days at the latest from the date of receipt. However, if the transaction requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board will be charged by our Company.

 

If your application is evaluated negatively, the reasons for the rejection will be sent to the address you specified in your application by e-mail or postal mail, or by one of the methods selected in the Application Form.
